Confirmation
Those desiring to be confirmed within the Vienna English Speaking Catholic Community should be at least 13 years old when the programme starts and should be regularly attending the VESCC Sunday Eucharist; if possible, they should also be attending weekly Catholic Religious Education Classes if they are offered at their school.
Prospective candidates are asked to begin their preparation by attending a Sunday Assembly followed by Mass in the Church. The dates will be announced at the start of the programme. At least one parent of each candidate is also asked to attend; indeed, the entire family is invited. Candidates are asked to bring a photocopy of their baptism certificate to the kick-off meeting.
In addition to the Sunday sessions, there will be student/sponsors meetings, a weekend retreat and a confirmation novena.
