Confirmation
Those desiring to be confirmed in the spring of 2007 need to have been born on or before December 31, 1994 and should be regularly attending the VESCC Sunday Eucharist; if possible, they should also be attending weekly Catholic Religious Education Classes if they are offered at their school.
Prospective candidates are asked to begin their preparation by attending the Sunday Assemblies on September 16 and 23, October 7 and 21 from 9:45 to 10:45 at Rooseveltplatz 8 followed by 11:00 o'clock Mass in the Church. At least one parent of each candidate is also asked to attend; indeed, the entire family is invited. Candidates are asked to bring a photocopy of their baptism certificate to the September meetings.
In addition to the Sunday sessions, there will be student/sponsors meetings, a weekend retreat and a confirmation novena.
