The VESCC aims at sharing at least a third of its income with the less fortunate, and oftentimes initiates special collections or events for its projects (for example fund raising Bazaar or flea markets). Twenty-five per cent of all pledges and unspecified collection are donated to 5 projects around the world. Ten young children from the community, ages 7 and up, received their first sacrament of Holy Communion on 20 April, 2008 at the Votiv Church in Vienna. Selected photos of the ceremony are available here.
